Pork / Ham / Gammon

The milder flavour of this meat means it can work equally well with red and white wines. In the case of reds they should be a little lighter and in the case of whites they should be quite full-bodied, like Roussanne, Viognier, Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Gris. Ham or gammon is best with a fruity red wine.
