Delivery times and charges

Final orders for delivery before Christmas must be made by close of play Tuesday 18th December.
There will also be no deliveries on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day but we are doing them between 27th and 29th December.
Everything returns to normal from the 2nd January.

Any order placed before 10am will guarantee you next day delivery; otherwise you can choose which delivery day suits you best. Please note that deliveries are made Monday to Friday only (if you place your order on Friday before 10am you will receive your package on the following Monday). Deliveries are typically made between 9am and 5pm, although they may occasionally be made outside of these times if absolutely necessary. This service is available for most postcodes on the mainland (please see exceptions below) and costs £8.50. There are additional charges for Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and some more remote postcodes on the mainland and we can only offer a 48 hour service if the order is placed before 10am. The exceptions are specified below.

Cover against loss or breakage

There is an optional charge for loss or breakage cover which we would advise you to consider adding, particularly if you are ordering expensive items. 

Delivery attempts

The courier will attempt to deliver to your address up to three times and will leave a note each time to make you aware of this. You will be able to contact them and re-arrange a specific day or a different delivery address if necessary. If, after the third attempt, the package has not been delivered then it will be returned to us and you will be asked to pay for any re-arranged delivery.

Damages or breakages

If the goods are damaged or broken at time of delivery then please do not accept them and ask the driver to return them to us. If you discover a problem after the driver has left then please contact us within 24 hours so that we can arrange a replacement. If the product/s are damaged please retain all packaging materials for possible inspection by the courier in order for us to make a claim. If the courier decides not to inspect we will inform you so that you can dispose of the package. 


You have 14 days to cancel your order and request a refund after receiving the goods. You then have another 14 days to return the goods after you've informed us. You are reliable for the cost of any return. After receiving the goods back, we will refund you within 14 days. Please contact customer services (see Contact Us) promptly if this is the case or for any breakage & faulty wines.
